Automatically adjust scene exposure to changes in brightness

Simulate real-world eye adaptation. Enable players to see in extremely dark or extremely bright areas. Brighten or darken your game overall with a fixed exposure offset. Control all settings globally and locally using volumes. Set limits to the adaptation using minimum and maximum exposure bounds. Progressively transition exposure levels over time to simulate realistic adaptation timing. Control the adaptation timing to get the perfect feel when transitioning areas. Unlock realistic light values in your game to immerse players.

Simple and Straightforward. Does exactly what it's supposed to. Just add the Auto Exposure render feature to your renderer and then drop the AE post processing effect to a volume in your scene. You now have instant or adaptive automatic exposure in URP.
